An Agate Buddha Eye set Gold ring. Southeast Asia, 18th century or earlier.
The Gold ring inset with an Agate Cabochon of White and Brown Hues, the Gold Incised and with Floral Scroll decoration.
Alloy composition analysis: Gold 14% karat. Silver 36.7% purity. The ring was tested by the Zelnik István Southeast Asian Gold Museum.
Condition: Good Condition with some wear and minor manufacturing irregularities.
Provenance: The Collection of The Zelnik István Southeast Asian Gold Museum. Institutional art collection in Belgium, acquired from the above.
